Kala Cotton–Tussar Silk Stole | Bhujodi Weave
Phagun is woven in Bhujodi, where every motif is built into the cloth through extra-weft weaving — thread by thread, on a traditional pit loom. Nothing is printed on. The pattern is part of the fabric itself.
The base is indigenous rain-fed Kala cotton from Kutch, valued for its strength and unmistakable texture. Tussar silk moves through the weave, bringing a quiet sheen, softness and drape.
And then, the craft leaves the loom.
It finds black.
It finds wide-leg linen.
It finds red shoes.
It walks through an archway.
Because heritage was never meant to sit behind glass.
Phagun is craft in motion — made for the woman who doesn’t choose between where she comes from and where she’s going. She wears both.
