Why You’ll Love It
- Inspired by Jupiter (Bṛhaspati) — the planet of wisdom, growth, and prosperity in Indian cosmology
- Crafted using authentic Ajrakh hand block printing by master artisans of Kutch
- Dyed exclusively with traditional natural colours — no synthetic dyes
- Reversible Ajrakh stole, printed and dyed on both sides
- A timeless, meaningful textile designed for conscious luxury
Natural Colour Story (Ajrakh Dyes)
All colours in this stole are created using age-old natural dye recipes:
- Indigo Blue — extracted from the indigo plant, symbolising depth and celestial knowledge
- Ecru — the natural shade of unbleached cotton
- Maroon — achieved using madder root (Manjistha), associated with ritual and wisdom
- Black — created using a traditional blend of iron oxide and jaggery, fermented to achieve depth and permanence
These natural dyes evolve gently over time, giving the stole a lived-in, heirloom quality.
