What's inside

Botanical composition

Frankincense (Boswellia)

The most sacred of temple resins. Frankincense slows the brainwave state, reduces cortisol, and has been used across ancient Egypt, Persia, and Vedic India as a bridge between the earthly and the divine.

Liquorice Root

Sweet and subtly anise-like, liquorice softens the resinous edges of the blend and adds a gentle, warming depth. Used in Ayurveda for its calming and adaptogenic qualities.

Guggal (Indian Bdellium)

One of the oldest ritual resins in the Vedic canon. Guggal is burned before puja to purify the space — smoky, balsamic, and deeply grounding. A cornerstone of sacred smoke traditions across India.

Sandalwood

Creamy, warm, and unmistakably meditative. Sandalwood holds the blend together and brings the mind to a single point — the scent of stillness itself, used in both Hindu and Buddhist practice for centuries.

Himalayan Rose

A single floral thread running through the composition — not dominant, but present. The rose lifts the resins and keeps the blend alive, radiant rather than heavy.

How to burn

1. Light the stick and allow the tip to glow. Gently fan out the flame — never blow.
2. Place in a brass, stone, or clay holder at a stable height — smoke should rise freely.
3. Settle into your practice. One stick covers a full 70-minute session without relighting.
4. Ventilate lightly — a cracked window allows the fragrance to move and the space to breathe.
